As we were traveling through the Arkansas state, we had stopped at this mom/pop diner in one of many small towns and had breakfast before leaving for the day. As I looked out the window, I saw this little bird sitting on this display, and just could not resist taking this photograph. There is just something special about seeing this, can't really put my finger on it, but it makes me smile everytime I look at it :)

Hello, My name is Elaine Malott and I do Nature and Landscape Photography. I have always had a love of the outdoors and animals since I was very young. I took art for most of my school years, and continued to do so afterwards as well, until I lost the ability to draw/paint due to hand surgeries. When I was little, my sister gave me a 110 camera, later I bought my own 35mm and took hundreds of photographs with it. When I lost my hand at drawing, I turned to photography as my new medium. I hope that if I even inspire one person, or make someone's day, then I feel that I have accomplished my job.
