Taken at the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum. This Barn Owl is an ambassador to his species and will never be able to be release back into the wild. We need to learn from these ambassadors on how to preserve what we have today and not loose them to destruction of their habitats.

Hello, My name is Elaine Malott and I do Nature and Landscape Photography. I have always had a love of the outdoors and animals since I was very young. I took art for most of my school years, and continued to do so afterwards as well, until I lost the ability to draw/paint due to hand surgeries. When I was little, my sister gave me a 110 camera, later I bought my own 35mm and took hundreds of photographs with it. When I lost my hand at drawing, I turned to photography as my new medium. I hope that if I even inspire one person, or make someone's day, then I feel that I have accomplished my job.
