Hello, My name is Elaine Malott and I do Nature and Landscape Photography. I have always had a love of the outdoors and animals since I was very young. I took art for most of my school years, and continued to do so afterwards as well, until I lost the ability to draw/paint due to hand surgeries. When I was little, my sister gave me a 110 camera, later I bought my own 35mm and took hundreds of photographs with it. When I lost my hand at drawing, I turned to photography as my new medium. I hope that if I even inspire one person, or make someone's day, then I feel that I have accomplished my job. I hope that you have enjoyed my page and photographs, have a great day :) Elaine Malott - Facebook Elaine's Photographs - Fan Page on Flicker...

WOW!! Great zoom shot! May I ask what your zoom was on this? I would imagine you weren't close enough for a 250mm, but maybe I am wrong ;p
Elaine Malott replied:
Thank you very much Frankie, I am honored that you enjoyed this photograph. I normally use my Sigma 150-500mm lens at the zoo. It works so much better through our fences here. I do stand back a tad bit more then normal to get my shot, but it works better then my 250mm lens. I hope you have a great day :)
