Taken at Tucson Reid Park Zoo, this old girl is 17 yrs old and lives with her sister in the enclosure. This was the very first time that she has given me a full on look. She is big, very beautiful, and was very grumpy that day lol.
About Elaine Malott
Hello, My name is Elaine Malott and I do Nature and Landscape Photography. I have always had a love of the outdoors and animals since I was very young. I took art for most of my school years, and continued to do so afterwards as well, until I lost the ability to draw/paint due to hand surgeries. When I was little, my sister gave me a 110 camera, later I bought my own 35mm and took hundreds of photographs with it. When I lost my hand at drawing, I turned to photography as my new medium. I hope that if I even inspire one person, or make someone's day, then I feel that I have accomplished my job.
